In its day-to-day operations, Realien is frequently deployed in technical false ceilings. These are characterized by a compact design and maximum use of space. Up-to-date drawings are rarely available, so on-site planning is the only viable option. It is precisely in this environment that our PipeplannAR reaches its full potential. The user can act with agility, perceive their real-world environment, and incorporate all on-site conditions into their planning.
Complex plant environments, limited space, and a lack of existing data are common challenges in many projects. This results in a significant amount of work in piping design, particularly during retrofits and expansions: facilities must be re-modeled, obstructing contours must be recorded, and routing must be coordinated multiple times. Together with Neuhaus Neotec and Amandus Kahl, we therefore tested PipeplannAR exactly where planning must work later on—directly in the real plant environment.
Following audits at its sites in Porta Westfalica and Gransee, JACOB is now officially ISO 50001 certified!
