Temperature resistance: -40°C to +100°C. Sealant is compliant in accordance with EC1935/2004

Application: The elastic sealant in the pull-ring is EC 1935/2004 compliant and can be used in contact with food product in the temperature range between -40°C and +100°C. This pull-ring is used for bulk goods conveyed by gravity and ventilation systems with low differential pressures and without condensates. For higher demands concerning sealing properties and the resistance of the connection, pull-rings with U-shaped seals should be preferred.

Case Study

The Bakery Innovation Center (BIC) of Bühler completely covers bakery processes - from conception to production. tubing and pressformed components by JACOB were used in the areas for bulk material handling and exhaust air aspiration. Because the systems in question are used for the processing of foodstuffs, components of the FOOD GRADE line were used exclusively. These fulfil the requirements of EC 1935/2004 as well as the FDA. Also included: the blue Ushaped seals, which are metal detectable thanks to incorporated metal particles.
